Herrenberg celebrates: three days full of music, food and fun!

The town festival in Herrenberg is just around the corner and promises to be a highlight in July 2025. From July 18th to 20th, the old town will once again be the venue for music, cuisine and lots of entertainment. Preparations for this are already in full swing.

The event is organized by the city of Herrenberg in collaboration with the music association. Special places such as the market square, the monastery courtyard and the Place de Tarare form the backdrop for the action. Various clubs will also present themselves with culinary offerings, including regional specialties, international dishes as well as refreshing cocktails and freshly tapped beer.

Festival program and opening evening

The official kick-off will take place on Friday evening at 7 p.m. on the market square. Mayor Nico Reith will open the celebrations with a tapping of a barrel. The event will be accompanied musically by the Herrenberg Music Association and other artists who will get the audience in the mood.

The entire festival mile stretches across prominent squares in the city, including Bronngasse, Bronntor and Schulstrasse. A wide range of food options are available to suit different tastes: from red sausage to pulled pork burgers to grilled cheese. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, such as regional draft beer and apple juice from the district, are also offered.

Cultural highlights and security measures

An extensive music program is offered during the city festival. The line-up includes numerous bands such as “Yahoo”, “Diet Dope” and “Strings Unplugged”. Sunday also promises an attractive program, which will take place mainly on the market square and in the monastery courtyard. An ecumenical marketplace service will enrich the celebrations on Sunday. From 11 a.m. various guest bands and dance formations can be seen that contribute to the entertainment.

The city administration and organizers also thought about the safety of visitors. In order to minimize possible risks, vehicle restraint systems and the presence of the DRK, fire brigade, security service and police are guaranteed. Residents are asked for their understanding of possible restrictions during the festival, while the city administration thanks the helpers and supporters for their efforts.
