On Saturday night, the market café on the Herrenberg market square was the victim of a break-in. On the one hand, there was a break-in at the Kemmler Baustoffe & Tiles hardware store, where the perpetrators forced entry. They stole a low four-figure amount of cash from a cash register that had been pried open, as well as various construction equipment worth around 2,000 euros. The material damage is estimated at around 500 euros.

There was also a theft in front of the Weeber car dealership, where radar sensors were stolen from the front of two new Audi vehicles. The material damage here amounts to around 10,000 euros. The police are currently investigating all cases, but cannot confirm or rule out any connection between the break-in in the market café and the incidents in the hardware store and car dealership.
