In an EXCELLENT adventure that overwhelms the senses, the first-year students from Kita St. Elisabeth in Thurmansbang embarked on an unforgettable journey of discovery into the heart of the Bavarian Forest! The children traveled to Grafenau on the legendary “Schlaue Füchse Bus” with only one goal in mind: the breathtaking Spiegelau forest play area! After transferring to the forest railway, these little adventurers and their teachers were welcomed by Regina Meyer, who introduced them to the wondrous place with radiant enthusiasm.
Immediately upon arrival, the children experienced the pure magic of nature! After a hearty snack, they began their new adventure on the sensational play stations with slides and climbing opportunities that put everything else to shame. The excitement and beaming faces of the children as they took on the role of the badger and playfully searched for food with a plush badger in their hands were absolutely INDESCRIBEABLE!
A trip full of adventure!
But that was just the beginning! The children moved actively and with full energy through the various stations forest play area, which extends over a gigantic area of 50 hectares and contains lots of mysterious nooks and crannies. Here fun doesn't just mean playing, but also learning! In a world full of great attractions and exciting games, children can playfully discover the secrets of nature.
On the2 kilometer long nature trailWith its ten exciting stations, little explorers can expect a unique experience: making music with natural materials, feeling the forest floor barefoot and hearing the magical sounds of the forest! Every moment of this once-in-a-lifetime experience was a shocking pleasure! The children couldn't help but be amazed when they experienced the different scents of the plants and discovered dead wood!

At the end of the day, the children were woven into an iron bond of togetherness and joy. Visibly touched by the fantastic experiences, they thanked those responsible at the Bavarian Forest National Park and Regina Meyer for this REWARDFUL excursion! With exciting memories in their luggage, the daycare team is already planning the next collaboration with the national park next year - an event that shouldn't be missed!
