Students at LLG Grafenau are planning an exciting exhibition on social insurance!
In the Freyung-Grafenau district, the students of the P-Seminar in Economics at the Landgraf-Leuchtenberg-Gymnasium in Grafenau are more intensively involved in project work than ever before. Your goal is to create your own exhibition entitled “Social Insurance – an exhibition at the LLG”. This initiative is by Gabriela Rauscher, cultural officer for the district and museum director at Wolfstein Castle, actively supported.
At the beginning of the school year, the participants dealt intensively with the basics of project management. As part of their work, the students developed in-depth specialist knowledge on the subject of social insurance. This process was supplemented in January by a training session at Wolfstein Castle, where participants were given insights into museum work and the development of exhibitions.
Conception of the exhibition
The students have been working on the conception of the exhibition since January. You attach importance to presenting the topic in a clear and understandable way. Expanding your professional prospects in connection with social insurance and in the cultural area is another important aspect of the seminar. Gabriela Rauscher visited the high school to reflect on the results so far and to provide inspiration for further implementation.
In direct exchange with Ms. Rauscher, the participants presented the content they had developed and designed important elements of the exhibition. During a tour of the planned exhibition location in the high school, she gave valuable advice on the sensible structure of the exhibition.
Tours and target groups
Another item on the agenda was to discuss how the tours through the exhibition could be designed to suit different target groups. The students really appreciated Gabriela Rauscher's support and benefited from the opportunity to have a professional contact at their side.
The planned exhibition promises not only an informative discussion of the topic of social insurance, but also a practical experience for the students, who can thereby prepare for possible career paths. The PNP reports that this engagement provides students with a valuable opportunity to combine theory and practice.
