In early Saturday morning, June 28, 2025, there was a serious accident with a scooter driver in Altdorf. According to the information from ur.ch , the incident occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. in the Greifligasse, near the confluence with the Allenwindenweg. The 68-year-old driver of a blue-gray scooter lost control for unexplained reasons and fell. The scooter driver suffered considerable injuries and was immediately transported to Uri's cantonal hospital.
The Uri cantonal police have started a witness call and asks people who have information about the course of the accident. Information can be submitted to the police on 041 874 5353.
