FC Altdorf celebrates impressive derby and secures promotion!

The Ca juniors of FC Altdorf won 5-1 in an exciting derby against ESC Erstfeld. The game took place on May 28, 2025 and featured both dramatic moments and strong performances from Altdorf's players. However, the start was bumpy as Altdorf fell behind 0-1 in the 6th minute. But just five minutes later they equalized to make it 1-1. The Altdorfers then took control in the second half of the game. Immediately after the restart they made it 2-1, followed by a penalty goal that increased the score to 3-1. Further goals in the 68th and 77th minutes led to a clear final score and thus the seventh win in a row for the Ca juniors, who are now waiting for another game against SK Root.

At the same time, the A-Juniors of FC Altdorf were able to secure an important victory in the promotion race. In the home game against FC Rotkreuz it was still 0-0 at halftime. Although Altdorf dominated the game, the ball was not put into the goal. After the break, however, they made a breakthrough: They scored the first goal in the 52nd minute and increased the lead to 2-0 in the 69th minute. Rotkreuz reduced the score to 1:2 with a penalty in the 73rd minute, but Altdorf set the stage for promotion with a goal in the 84th minute and another goal in stoppage time, which set the final score at 4:1. This means that Altdorf has reached the 1st strength class before the season ends.

Results of the Ea juniors

The Ea juniors from FC Altdorf were also successful and achieved an impressive 11:7 win in the away game against Cham. The game was exciting in a 3 against 3 format on small pitches. Altdorf started strong and led after the first four games. On the large field, they took a 1-0 lead in the 5th minute and led 4-1 in the first period. Despite numerous aluminum hits from Cham, the Altdorfers showed a strong performance and kept the pressure until the end. The positive result in the elite strength class earned a lot of praise and thanks from the fans who traveled with us.

These various successes by FC Altdorf's juniors not only show the commitment and potential of the young talents, but also the strong support from the club's own fans.
