Around 5,000 young believers at the Pentecost youth meeting in Aidlingen!

The Pentecost Youth Meeting (PJT) in Aidlingen, which took place from June 7th to 9th under the motto “The Way: Jesus”, attracted around 5,000 young people. Organized by the Aidlingen Deaconess Motherhouse, the event presented a varied program with inspiring sermons, worship sessions and workshops that presented various methods for interpreting the Bible. Particularly noteworthy is the well-known Christfluencer Jana Highholder, who gave this year's Pentecost sermon and inspired many young people with her wide reach on social media. Krzbb.de reports that many people present at the event were touched and even sang outside in the rain.

The event took place on the grounds of the Deaconess Mother House, which is not only known for its religious activities, but also has a long tradition as part of the Pentecost youth meeting, which has been held on the Hummelberg in Aidlingen since 1957. This year, in addition to Highholder, there were also prominent guests such as Sarah Marie Zacharias and Andrew Palau. In total, the program offered five main events based on the biblical story of the Emmaus disciples, as well as 15 additional sessions and workshops. Jesus.de explains that a talent stage was also provided for participants to perform their own songs and dances.

Tradition and community

With over 70 years of tradition, the Pentecost Youth Meeting represents a strong community of young people who feel connected to Christian values. The Aidlingen Deacon Mother House, supported by sisters and volunteers, realizes this event in a friendly and inviting setting. In addition to religious content, a spacious space for social interaction and relaxation was also created, including a coffee lounge.

In the coming weeks there will be a second “PJT Outreach” where a small group will travel to Italy to carry forward the ideas and spirit of the meeting. The entire event shows the importance of connection and exchange among young Christians and provides a platform for faith, creativity and community. The organizers acquired an estimated 3,500 permanent participants and additional day guests, which underlines the continued attractiveness and relevance of the Pentecost youth meeting.
