In order to counteract a possible situation in which VfB plays without a jersey sponsor, the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) is stepping in at short notice. Starting next season, LBBW will act as the main sponsor anyway and has now agreed to take over sponsorship for this important game.

VfB Stuttgart is changing its jersey sponsor shortly before the final. “It is important to us that we have a strong partner at our side for the final,” explains Alexander Wehrle, CEO of VfB Stuttgart. He expresses gratitude for LBBW's willingness to step in, especially in this crucial phase. VfB Director of Marketing and Sales, Rouven Kasper, announced that all buyers of the special jersey designed for the cup final will be contacted next week. These measures demonstrate the club's commitment to accommodate its fans and meet expectations, despite the unexpected circumstances.
