On September 17, 2025, TUSEM Essen played a home game against HC Oppenweiler/Backnang. In this festive setting, the association welcomed Dagmar Tillich-Schmidt, the representative of the Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery, in the VIP room. This season, the winery has established itself as an official wine partner in the VIP area, which underlines the connection between sport and enjoyment.
The Bergdolt-Reif & Nett winery, whose history goes back to 1838, is based in Duttweiler, Palatinate, between Speyer and Neustadt an der Weinstraße. Run by the Nett family in the fifth generation, the vines extend to an altitude of 120 to 140 meters above sea level in a picturesque Mediterranean landscape. This region is known for its diverse plantings, including kiwis, figs, almonds and chestnuts.
Wine tasting and sports engagement
The winery, which is also involved in sports - both football and ice hockey - not only makes its wines available in the VIP room, but also organizes interesting wine tastings.
