Storm warning in Stuttgart: wind gusts of up to 75 km/h expected!
The German Weather Service (DWD) issued a wind gust warning for the Rems-Murr district and the city of Stuttgart on Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2025. The warning is effective from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15 and is expected to last until 8:00 p.m. During this time, wind gusts with speeds of up to 60 km/h (17 m/s, 33 kn, Bft 7) are expected from the southwest. In exposed locations, gusts of wind with speeds of up to 75 km/h (21 m/s, 41 kn, Bft 9) are possible and could cause some damage.
The DWD warns in particular about flying light objects, which is why it is strongly recommended to secure loose objects and covers. This warning falls into the weather warning (yellow) category, which indicates possible dangers caused by the weather. Such a warning is usually issued up to 48 hours in advance in order to alert the population in good time.
