On June 22, 2025, the Notnagel campaign celebrated its 30th anniversary with an ecumenical service in the Bergwaldhalle Renningen. The event attracted numerous guests and offered a review of the association's successful and important work. Since its founding in 1983 as part of a forest service, the campaign has developed into a registered association that has been active since 1995.

An example of the valuable help provided by Aktion Notnagel is the case of pensioner Siegfried U. After being terminated for personal use, he was forced to leave his apartment. After a long search, he finally found a new home. However, it turned out that the deposit costs for the new apartment were prohibitive for him given his small pension.
